FIRST Charged Up, is the FIRST Robotics Competition for the 2023 season. two competing alliances are invited to process game pieces to bring energy to their community. Each alliance brings energy to their community by retrieving their game pieces from substations and scoring it into the grid. Human players provide the game pieces to the robots from the substations. In the final moments of each match, alliance robots race to dock or engage with their charge station!

Overview

ROBOT

Drive Train: This year, we incorporated a swerve drive system with speeds up to 16.3 ft/sec

Claw: Our elevator arm allows us to pick up cones and cubes to maximize point potential

Climbing: A "Buddy" climbing system allows us to work together and park on the charge station

Auton: Our programming lets our robot automatically adjust to balance on the charge station

Specializations: As a special piece, we've incorporated a field-centric driving system.

Team 6078 had a successful season during the 2023 Charged Up competition, with their robot proving to be a strong and capable contender. The team's hard work and dedication paid off as they designed and built a robot that could perform the game tasks with ease, impressing both their competitors and spectators. The team's strategic planning and execution were top-notch, and their robot's exceptional performance was a testament to their skills and teamwork
